Here's to friendship
Austin and Saltillo have been sister cities since 1968. Many wonderful exchanges take place every year to bring our communities closer together. One example is the Saltillo Day in Austin Festival, which has been organized by the Austin-Saltillo Sister Cities Association since 2017.
Please look below and see how the City of Austin, the Austin-Saltillo Sister Cities Association, Comite Internacional de Ciudades Hermanas Saltillo, and Austin Sister Cities International celebrated SALTILLO DAY on September 30th, 2021. Although the 2021 version was a series of recorded interactions between citizens in Austin, Texas and Saltillo, Mexico, we look forward to seeing you in-person on May 4, 2024 at Fiesta Gardens.
