Connecting Austin and Saltillo through culture, education, and community.

For generations, Mexican traditions have remained an essential part of Austin's cultural identity. This video showcases El Grito de Independencia, one of the city's most anticipated cultural celebrations, organized by the Austin-Saltillo Sister Cities Association in partnership with the Consulate of Mexico in Austin. More than a commemoration, the event is a living tribute to history, heritage, and the enduring connection between Austin and Mexico.
